Something I am Obsessed with....Photography

I like pictures that capture who people are without ever seeing their face. There is something so intriuging about pictures were comeones face is hidden. I am obssesed with photography, whether it be someone famous' or my own. Photography is definatly its own art form.

Who is my family?

My family is the people that I love and cherish the most. The may not be directly related to me but these are the people that I know will be in my life forever and I a truly thankful for them.

A Place that is Special to Me!

I love Calvert Cliffs. It is not only one of my favorite places in the world, but in Maryland. I have not really been out of the East Coast, but this place makes me feel like I am in another country. My brother loves collecting fossils and shark teeth. That why we always go there. It is such a beautiful place, it is a 2 mile walk in the woods to the beach, so it is not very crowded. The cliffs tower over the ocean, and tere are streams flowing into the ocean filled with sea life and fossils. This place is absolutly beauitful and I feel inspired everytime I go to Calvert Cliffs.

My Cousin:)

This is a drawing I started awhile ago, I finally finished it. It is a drawing of a picture of my cousin Alex. I used pastels, I really like it because it looks like her. It is the only picture of a person I have ever done that actually ends up looking like the person!

Snow Break!

This was a photograph I took over the summer. It was not until the recent blizzard that I was inspired to do something more with it. This is my interpretation of the photograph. The colors are a bit off becuase of my camera's flash.

power picture

For this project we had to do a quick and small painting of ourselves. I really loved how quick it went because I hate it when projects are dragged out. Overall this was a great experience for me because it taught me not to overthink what I was painting ans just simply paint. I had alot of fun with this project and I hope we can do more 'power pictures'. Also that simply using three colors really teaches you about shadows and light that lets you experince color in a whole new way. I think that was my favorite part about doing this project.
